To carve meat properly, it's essential to position it comfortably for stability. Exactly how you should carve your meat for your Christmas dinner will depend on exactly what cut you’re having. 

To carve a turkey (or any bird), remove the string and place it on a carving board. First, detach the legs, wings, and breasts. Then, separate the drumstick from the thigh, carve the thigh meat, and slice the breast meat.
